To be admitted to this qualification, candidates must meet one of the following minimum criteria:
• NQF Level 4 Relevant Qualification
• Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for those with relevant work experience.

Qualification Structure.

Modules across three semesters covering cyber governance, ethical hacking, and incident response.

Learning Outcomes.

Upon completion, learners will be able to:
• Analyse, identify, and solve potential and actual security risks, vulnerabilities and inefficiencies to safeguard information system assets from malicious Cyber Security attacks.
• Protect organisation's digital assets from both internal and external threats by maintaining Cyber Security attack mitigation and incident response capability.
• Perform ethical Cyber Security monitoring in line with Cyber Security policies to provide defence to a level of confidentiality, integrity, and availability equal with the threat to assets and their value to the company.
• Implement response procedures to mitigate cyber-attacks and secure information assets, intellectual property, and computer systems.
• Implement recovery protocols and procedures as per recovery plan to restore data and/or assets affected by Cyber Security incidents.
